Hi, I'm Sue Walker and I'm going to show you how to grease a cupcake pan. The things you will need are your cupcake pan and either nonstick baking spray or shortening. You want to make sure that your cupcake pan is clean and dry. Take your pan and hold it over the sink. I spray each individual cupcake area and I try not to get too much on the edges of the pan. After spraying, I take a paper towel and wipe off any coating that gets on the edges of the pan and all around the cupcakes. This will help prevent any stains or burning that will form on the edges from the baking. If you are using shortening, take a paper towel and scoop out some shortening. Rub each cupcake hole with the shortening on the bottom and the sides and you are ready to pour your batter. And that is how to grease a cupcake pan.
